look deep, turn a vacation into a mission If you look deep enough, you will find an area that interests you and a group that will take you there.  If you don’t find the exact match here, ask your pastor or mentor if they have connections to any missionaries  in the area of your interest.   Next, recruit a friend to go with you.   You’ll be surprised how easy it is to find a place to serve. Today’s Vision – Bridging Connections will take periodic mission trips, so check with us about future destinations. Just living is not enough Get out and see the world.  Gather a group of like-minded people, select a destination, connect with a missionary organization or pastor in the area and go.  Here are a few fun groups I hope to join one day:  Jesus Culture-Mexico, Youth With a Mission YWAM- Hawaii, or maybe return to Connected Life PuertoRico.    Choose your adventure! Today’s Vision – Bridging Connections offers missionary scholarships.  The application involves a letter of recommendation from your pastor and an  essay, so check with us. going along with the creator Christians take Jesus Christ wherever they go, representing HIM on their mission journey.  We have a duty to represent HIM well.  We are not going on vacation to be served but to serve others.   When troubles arise, remember who you represent and who backs you.  We can call on Him to help us though every task. But whoever listens to ME will dwell safely, and will be secure without fear of evil – Proverb 1:33 every good & perfect gift comes down from the father of lights. Nature is the perfect gift to soothe the weary soul.  We always get away to see a bit of the surrounding beauty, choosing to slow down.  Our experience has been that we are the ones who come back refreshed with our souls nourished.  We are blessed to be a blessing to others, no better legacy to leave.  Pass it on!
